Hard to tell if he has lost it out of the blue, getting old. But there is no doubt about it from this clip on Mets.com- Tom Seaver does not sound like himself. He makes absolutely no sense here:
Reading it in text form makes it all the more nonsensical. Just take the first 1/3 of what he says:
"I'm from afar. I'm not ask any questions, ecetera and I live in California. I have a vineyard and I'm doing another direction that I'm going, it's ah...But you gotta make a...you can't...You have to make a decision of what you are gonna do I think. You make a decision to stay with what you have".
WHAT?!
