Tonight the Nationals Garret Mock makes his major league regular season debut, and the Mets must capitalize and dominate the offense with a possibly shaky Mike Pelfrey on the mound. Click here are this weekends probable pitching matchups. John Lannen, who the Phillies destroyed on opening day Monday, setting his ERA at 12.27, must be dominated by the Mets line-up as well. Although it will be a couple weeks until Reyes and Beltran return, the lineup- with Wright, Bay, Castillo and Pegan- must put together enough runs to defeat the Lannen saturday. As for Sunday, we got Santana. That should mean a win in the bag, and since the Mets have Livan's number, Santana better get the run support he got in what remains the only Mets win of the season. 1-2 must become 4-2. Sweep or fail.
